The Minneapolis St. Paul Chapter created a scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to qualifying members for the express purpose of participating in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Chapter for 2012.

Carol Powers-Ernst was a valued member who was instrumental in keeping our chapter going in the early nineties when it was close to folding.  She held offices; she sought out educational speakers for meetings and mentored many of us along the way. Her firm, Michaud Cooley Erickson, supported her through her efforts and was a host for many gatherings of the Chapter.

After a courageous battle with ovarian cancer, Carol passed away on August 19, 2000.  This scholarship is named after her and the spirit she gave to everything she did.

To apply for this scholarship, please complete the application forms and return it in triplicate to the current SDA Chapter President by January 27, 2012.
