Congratulations to Janet Bucholdt for receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award

Every year, one member is chosen among all SDA members nationally to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is presented to someone that has been active both at a Chapter and National level and shows exemplary service and dedication to SDA and their fellow members. This is the highest award a member can receive in our organization. Congratulations to our very own Janet Bucholdt from Cuningham Group for receiving this award!!!
Here is an excerpt from her employer's nomination letter:
"perhaps Janet's greatest contribution to the firm, however, is what she does every single day in her role as administrator for architectural studios and our in-house attorney. One of her greatest assets is her ability to help keep those she supports organized and effective. She is always thinking, and is usually one step ahead of everyone else. She is always willing to help; "no" and "can't" are not words included in her vocabulary. Janet's "can-do" attitude and tireless smile are contagious. When asked about Janet's skills, one of the firm's principals responded by saying "she allows us to be more efficient as a team by taking on those essential but routine tasks that are required for any project - she really is a role model for any administrator." Janet is thoughtful, diligent and conscientious; she always has a pleasant and very positive attitude about her work. While working with a variety of individuals every day, she continues to keep the firm interests at the forefront. Janet is not only an administrative role model; she is a role model for all who have the privilege of interacting with her." The jury agreed -- congratulations Janet!
Six members from our chapter attended last week's EDSymposium16 in Cincinnati. They had a fabulous time learning and connecting/networking with members across the country as well as with each other.
