It’s back to school season, and you know what that means ..

It’s another opportunity for the San Diego Association for Men in Nursing to help shape the future generations of nursing and healthcare workers in San Diego!

Hollywood loves medical drama, but high schoolers don’t always know where the fiction ends and real resuscitation begins. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for Nurses and Nursing Students (who have taken ACLS or Advanced Medsurg) to help us lead an interactive Code Blue workshop for high school students.

Why Join Us?

  • Master the Material: They say the best way to prove you truly know a concept is to teach it. Reinforce your own resuscitation knowledge.
  • Practice Teaching: Sharpen your ability to break down complex medical concepts into clear, simple steps.
  • Inspire Eager Minds: Connect directly with high schoolers who are excited about healthcare and be a mentor for the day.

Event Details:

  • Date/Time: 9/14/2026, 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Location: El Cajon Valley High School

In collaboration with Grossmont Unified High School District Health Career Pathways, we have created some comprehensive, creative, and engaging curriculum to bring nursing to our local high school health career pathways students.
