Staff Our Clinical Wellness Booth

We are seeking Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and current Nursing Students to volunteer your expertise during Cultura Fest. Your skills are needed to provide critical preventative screenings and health education to the Vista community in a supportive, vibrant environment.

• Experienced Nurses: Give back directly to your community and provide leadership in our wellness booth.
• Nursing Students: Gain valuable, hands-on clinical and patient education hours in a unique public health setting.

Clinical Volunteer Roles

• Blood Pressure Screenings: Accurately check BP and provide actionable guidance.
• Blood Glucose Checks: Perform point-of-care fingerstick tests and assist with basic result interpretation.
• Health Education: Talk one-on-one with community members, providing essential preventative health tips and educational resources for chronic condition management

• I understand that if I do not show up without 24 hr notice, I will be considered a "NO SHOW" with lower priority for future volunteer events and will be given a warning
• I understand that if a second "NO SHOW" occurs, I will no longer be given privilege to volunteer with SDAMN at future events
